Obituary of Elizabeth Nehr

NEHR, Elizabeth Went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2012 at the age of 91. Loving wife and best friend of the late Nikolaus (1999), with whom she had celebrated 62 years of marriage. Cherished mother to Mike (Betty) Nehr, Anna (Andy) Krumbacher, and Helen Miller. Wonderful Oma to Betty Krumbacher, Irene (Gary) Belanger, Michael (Christine) Nehr, and Christy (Bryan) Boycott. Treasured great-Oma to Brandon, Matthew, Chase, Garrett, Alec, Abigail, and Jordynn. Immigrating to Canada from Germany with her husband and children in 1952, Elizabeth loved to celebrate family with her gift as a wonderful cook and baker. She also spoiled family and friends with her great talent for crocheting beautiful blankets. The family would like to extend special thanks to her amazing caregivers at the Village of Aspen Lake. As per her wishes, a private family service has taken place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd.
