BAUER, Gertrude Born May 11, 1915 passed away January 24, 2012 at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Loving Mother to Katherine and Anna. Predeceased by son in-law Adam and Great-Grandson Karl. Dearest Omi to Ernie (Arlene), John (Donna), Adam (Pat), Glenda (Jim), Roseanne, Sandy (Kenny), Gerry (Rochelle), Richard and David. Dear Great-Grandmother to Jessica, Jodi, Justin, Linda, Stephanie, Katharine, Leslie, Laura, Amy, AJ, James, Cory, Meighan, Kristina, Monica, Evelyn, Heidi and Katie. Great-Great-Grandmother to Gabriella, Gianna and AJ. Gertrude was predeceased by 4 sisters and 3 brothers. She will also be missed by her niece and nephews. Gertrude's love for her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren was what kept her strong. A special thanks to the nursing staff on 7W at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. E. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers 7:00 p.m. followed by Catholic Women's League prayers. Relatives and friends are to be received at St. Michael's German Church (2153 Parkwood) on Thursday, January 26, 2012 for 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
