Obituary of Susan Ouellette

OUELLETTE, Susan (Washbrook) (nee Smith) Died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 60 years of age, 2 weeks after suffering a brain aneurysm. Adoring mother to her only child Melissa Washbrook-Anderson, best mother-in-law ever to Ken Anderson and doting "G-Ma" to Ken"s children Nicole and Brett. Cherished sister of Connie Ashby (Tom Minto) and Cheryl (Dave Battson). Predeceased by parents Alvin (2000) and Esther (2005) Smith. Loving aunt to Chad (Stacy), J (Krista), Marie (Connor), Craig (Lydia), Mark and Samantha and great aunt to Faith, Desiree and unborn baby Peyton. Loving Godmother to Mark Rivait and forever loved by the Ouellette, Lebert and Rivait families. Early last year, Susie met and fell in love with Ron Dixon and they recently announced their engagement. She was instantly adored by Ron"s children Korry (Kate) and Rhonda and his grandchildren Keirha and Khloe and the gang at Leisure Lake. Susie was retired from the GM Trim Plant and was currently working in "the shack" for Penske Logistics. Special thank you to the amazing staff at Hotel Dieu ICU unit who did everything they could to care for Susie including to support her family during this difficult time. Also to Andre and the Trillium Gift of Life Network, thank you for doing everything possible to make something good come out of Susie"s death. It is no surprise that her last act was one of generosity towards others. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E.on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
