Obituary of Calisto Lenarduzzi

LENARDUZZI, Calisto Died peacefully in God's arms on January 5, 2012 while recovering from a brief illness. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Pia of 41 years and predeceased by his first wife Ines (Zatti) 1968. Loving father of Eddie, Debbie (Dan Docherty), and Robert (Stephanie). Special grandfather to Rick, Chris (Christina), Corey, Kyle and soon to be granddaughter. Dear son of the late Antonio and Paola (Muzzatti) Lenarduzzi. Dear brother of Maria Bisutti (the late Dino), the late Giulio survived by his wife Augusta, Elio survived by his wife Loria, and Silvio survived by his wife Louise. Also predeceased by his youngest sister Maria who passed away when she was 3 years old. Calisto was a proud member of the Fogolar Furlan Club where he served as Seargent of Arms for 14 years. He was also a member of the Alpini Association. He retired from Chrysler Canada after 39 years. Calisto loved singing with the Choirs of the Guiseppe Verdi Club in Amherstburg, the Italian Choir in Leamington and the Alpini Choir with the Fogolar Furlan Club. He will be sadly missed by many family members and friends. He loved life, his garden and especially his family. We thank God that he was able to come home and spend time with his family over the holidays. We would like to thank the many doctors and nurses who showed great compassion and care. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Monday, January 9, 2012 from the Funeral Home at 9:15 a.m. then to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. If you should so desire, donations can be made to Windsor Regional Hospital and Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital.
