Obituary of Karen DeLisle

DELISLE, Karen Elizabeth (nee Fontaine) Born in Windsor on December 18, 1952. Passed away peacefully at her home on December 29, 2011. Predeceased by her husband and soul mate Jim (2009). Karen will be lovingly remembered by her brother Thom Fontaine (Peggy), sister Mary Munro, nieces Melanie Figler (Josh) and Amber Fontaine, nephew Matthew Munro (Darcie), great niece Isabelle and great nephews Taylor and Rylan. Karen will be missed by many friends, especially good friend Lori. Her kindness and wonderful sense of humor drew people to her and her smile could light up a room. Karen was a devoted Detroit Red Wing fan. She was not only a sister, but also a dear friend and was totally devoted to her family. Her ultimate joy in her last years was her great niece and nephews. She has now put on her angel wings and has gone to join her beloved Jim. Karen will be sadly missed, but our fond memories will always be with us.
