Obituary of Gerald Francis Derochie

DEROCHIE, Gerald Francis Passed away on Friday, November 25, 2011, with his family by his side, at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of 65 years to Dorothy (Couvillon) Derochie. Much loved father of Joyce Lamoureux, Charlotte Ross, Judy Orr (Gary), Brenda Derochie, Tammy Kirkwood, and the late Michael Derochie (Sept. 2011). Proud grandfather of 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Survived by two of his sisters, Veronica Kovacs (Louis) and Beatrice Talbot. Gerry was retired from Hiram Walker & Sons. He served overseas with the Royal Canadian Army during WWII. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519 253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, November 28, 2011 from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will be held at 7:30 Monday evening. Cremation to follow.
