Obituary of Peter Herbert

HERBERT, Peter It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Peter Herbert, peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. Born February 1, 1929 - passed away November 1, 2011. Predeceased by his parents Johann and Magdalena, and brother Johann Herbert in Germany. Survived by his wife Margaret Herbert (Lochinger) and children Catherine Thomas, John and Janet Herbert, Rosemarie Turton (Myron), Lisa and Gary Maurice. Loving Papa to Christopher and Sara Thomas, Michael and Krysti Herbert, Adam Turton, Michele and Veronica Maurice, and the late baby Tyler Maurice. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews from Canada and Germany. Peter worked in his profession, plastering and at Dominion Forge Company of Windsor. He was a long time member of the Teutonia Club. A special thanks to the V.O.N. nursing and Hospice for their kindness and compassionate care. E. on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Thursday 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
