Obituary of Barbara Joan Stewart

STEWART, Barbara Joan Passed away peacefully on September 5, 2011. Predeceased by her parents William and Hilda Stewart. Dear sister to William D. Stewart and wife Patricia of Kingsville. Will be sadly missed by her nephews Billy Stewart of Windsor, David Stewart of Victoria, British Columbia and niece Heather Stewart-O'Brien and husband Jason of Windsor. Great aunt to Hanna Stewart, Emma O'Brien, Jaiden O'Brien, and Noah Stewart. Barbara was passionate about her pugs and her music. She enjoyed playing the accordion and was known for her beautiful soprano singing voice with the St. Barnabas Church choir where she sang for almost seventy years. She retired from CIBC after twenty seven years of service. We would like to extend a special thank you to her family, friends, neighbours and her fellow parishioners at St. Barnabas Church and her Lighthouse Cove friends in Bayfield, Ontario. A special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus and Hospice Village. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Friends will be received for visitation at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, on Friday, September 9, 2011 from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
