Obituary of Patrick Arthur Donnelly

DONNELLY, Patrick Arthur Died peacefully on August 3, 2011 in Windsor, Ont. in his 75th year. Born in Simcoe, Ont. was raised north of Delhi, Ont. before moving to Windsor. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cecilia (nee Bakker), children James, Jacqueline, William and wife Shelley (nee Fyfe) and grandchildren Alec and Erin. Predeceased by his parents J. Arthur and Laura (Dwyer) awaiting his arrival in heaven are sisters Rita (Earl O"Brien), Margaret (James Predhomme), and brother Wilfred (Emily Fredette). Survived by sisters Eileen (the late Vince Jolie), Anna (Roger Jolie), Joan (Leo Parent), brothers Leo (Morella Weston) and Paul. Pat will be missed by many nieces and nephews, friends and other family. He retired from Chrysler Canada after 39 years but remained active in hunting, fishing and helping out around the farms of friends. A celebration of Pat"s life will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, August 4, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, August 5, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Friday at 3:00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday August 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart Parish (2153 Parkwood). Please Note: Family requests meeting directly at church on Saturday at 10:00a.m. Cremation to follow with a later interment at Assumption Cemetery.
