SCHLOSSER, Johann Passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus on Monday June 27, 2011 at 91 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Katharina (nee Thier) (2007). Dear father of Elizabeth Stampfer and her late husband John, of Warren, Michigan; Regina Schmidtgall and husband Ernie of Leamington; Mary Ouellette and husband Gene of Mississauga, and Paul and wife Lisa Schlosser, of Tecumseh. Dear Opa of John and wife Darlene, Mike and wife Renee, Irene and husband Mike, Bob and wife Anna, Brian and wife Shawna, Linda and friend Eric, Rick and fiancee Laureen, and Erika and Kris. Dear great grandfather to 9 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Magdalena Pocantos of Harrow. Mr. Schlosser was retired following many years of dedicated service as a supervisor with Old Dayus Roofing. John was a longtime member of St. Michael's German Catholic Church, the Catholic Men's League and the Teutonia Club. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday 4:30 p.m. Relatives and friends to gather at St. Michael's German Catholic Church (2153 Parkwood Ave.) on Thursday, June 30, 2011 for visitation from 12:00 Noon until time of Funeral Mass to celebrate Johann's life at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
