Dear Kate, Sharon and I were truly saddened to read of Peter's passing. His obituary details a man of considerable upbringing and accomplishment but, more than anything else, it speaks volumes of your profound love and respect for him. I never knew Peter very well and Sharon had only met him on numerous social occasions. What always impressed me about him was his quiet patience coupled with an overwhelming presence. For me, this was a very unusual combination. He carried himself with dignity, always. We feel so much for you, Kate. You and Peter were, ironically, a perfect match. I know of no individual more deserving of love, respect and admiration than you, Kate. I'm certain that you will receive much love and support from your family and many friends. Death just isn't fair. No time is right. It seems to me that the two of you just figured things out and finally got together. Your faith, as always, will see you through and what an incredible comfort it must be for you to know that you loved Peter so unconditionally and gave him such joy in the sunset of his life. God bless you, Kate. With affection, Greg and Sharon Butler
