Obituary of Mary Concetta Vassallo

VASSALLO, Mary Concetta ( nee Bugeja ) 68 years, passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She will be greatlly missed by her best friend and husband of 44 years, Joseph. Loving mother to Gary (Edna), Rita (Eamonn) and Diane. Beloved Nanna to Alonte, Spiro, Tyria and Tony. Dear sister in law of Theresa Micallef and family of Windsor, Irene Vassallo of Clinton Township, Michigan. Mary will be greatly missed by many close family members, not only in Canada but in Malta, Australia and England. Mary was born in Malta, March 29, 1943, the daughter of the late Spiridione and Theresa Bugeja. Mary's passion in life was her love and devotion for her family and many close friends. Resting at the Windsor Chapel 1700 Tecumseh Road E (253-7234) on Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 9 PM. Parish Prayers Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Family & friends are invited to join the family on Thursday June 2nd, 2011 at St. Theresa's Church ( 1991 Norman Rd ) from 10:00 AM until time of Mary's funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Followed by interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
