Obituary of Gladys Amelia Ewasyshyn

EWASYSHYN, Gladys (nee Pawlowski) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on May 26, 2011 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus at the age of 91 years. Dear wife to the late Frank (1994). Loving mother to son Frank, daughter-in-law Carolyn and daughter Mary. Daughter to the late Walter and Josephine Pawlowski. Daughter-in-law to the late John and Elizabeth Ewasyshyn. Survived by sister-in-law Jennie Stacknik, niece Grace-Ann and family, late brother-in-law Michael Ewasyshyn, nephews Michael, Philip, niece Estelle and their families. Extended family Judge Harry & Irene Momotiuk; Karen, Bill & Harrison; Greg, Angela David. Bob, Dolores, Michael & Andrew Chachula. Gladys will be missed by many friends and neighbors especially Peter, Elizabeth and Karen. Special thanks to the staff at 6 North at Met Hospital, and 3rd floor at Grandview. Gladys and husband Frank owned and operated Uptown Radio and TV Limited for over 40 years. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral services on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 12:15 p.m. from the funeral home then to Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Polish Church for Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
