To Evelyn's Family: Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of such a wonderful lady. This staff in Riverside became very close to Evvie and are all so saddened by her loss. Room 1249 will always be Evelyn's room in our hearts and no one will ever take her place. I noticed after all the rain we've been having that the sun has finally come out. Bet Evvie sent it to us from heaven and must be overjoyed to finally be with Bill again. The song "You are my Sunshine", which she sang every night at betime, proves to me she sent it to us.
