Farina, Gerardo "Jerry" After a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born on May 8, 1941 in Italy, Passed away 1 week prior to his 70th birthday. Loving husband to Dallas Marie (nee Drouillard) Beloved son of Anna Loreta Farina and the late Giovanni Vincenzo (1961). Dear old Dad to John Farina and Tina Beneteau. Dear step-father to Stan and wife Sandra, Raymond and wife Darlene, and Wayne and wife Kelly. Dear grandfather and papa to Dustyn, Chelsea, Zoe, Holly, Peter, Emma, Amber, and Danielle. Also survived by his sister Lusia and husband John Pinese. Dear uncle to Ginetta and husband Gabe, Anna and husband Marcel, and John and wife Susie. Also survived by great nieces and nephews, Gabe, Sara, Michael; Angie, Samantha; Kimberley, and Anthony. and great great nieces. Brook Lynn, and Paige. Jerry was a retiree of the City of Windsor after 29 years of service. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday May 2, 2011 from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Prayers 4:30 pm Funeral Wednesday May 4, 2011 at 8:45 am from the Funeral Home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
