RUSSELL, Leonard Douglas Passed away quietly at home on April 29, 2011 at 84 years of age. Dear husband of the late Jean (1999). Loving father of Danny Russell and wife Cheryl and Melanie Jean Greenacre. Dear grandfather to Angela and Paul Walsh, Michael Russell, Scott and Tiffany Russell, Colleen Russell, Jeff and Bronwyn Greenacre, Meghan and Pat Giles and the late Jenny (1974). Great grandfather to 7 and 2 on the way. Dear brother to the late Allan Russell and wife Cindy, late David Russell and late wife Betty, the late Jack Russell (1975) and late wife Demaris, the late Helen and late husband Peter Ritchie, Brother-in-law to Bill Dewar and wife Rachel and Jim and Dorothy Pearson. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Russell served with the Active Royal Canadian Engineers in the armed services during WW II, a retired dispatcher for Route Canada, formerly Husband Transport and a member of Oakwood Bible Chapel. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, May 3, 2001 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
