Obituary of Audrey Beatrice Johnston

JOHNSTON, Audrey Beatrice (nee Graves) Called to be with her Lord peacefully with her loving daughter by her side on April 21, 2011 at the age of 72 years. Cherished Mother of Pamela Johnston and Grandmother of Justin Johnston. Predeceased by her parents Harley and Hazel Graves of Cottam. Beloved sister of Helen Graves, Doris and Bill James, and the late Mary and Jack Haines. Special Aunt to Nancy and Joe Parent, Debbie Merritt, Gary and Joanne Haines, Bob and Dorothy James, and Rick and Nina James. Dear Great Aunt of 7 nieces and nephews. Treasured friend of Gloria Wilson, Delores Hull, Bernie Gannon and Rose Wilson and many other special friends. Will be greatly missed by loyal feline companions Muffin and Buddy. Audrey was retired from the Windsor Public Library and was a member of Parents Without Partners where she cultivated many endearing relationships. Audrey was a creative individual who loved interior decorating, gardening, and was always improving her home. Audrey had a fabulous sense of humour and an outgoing and spirited personality with a loving heart. Visitation to take place on Monday April 25, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. Funeral service to take on Tuesday April 26, 2011 at 12:00 pm in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
