Obituary of Michele Bietola

BIETOLA, Michele "Mike" It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our Father and Nonno on April 7, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Gaetana "Daria" (nee Solari) (2009). Cherished father to John and his wife Cheryl and Robert and his wife Lori. Nonno will be sadly missed but never forgotten by his grandchildren Melissa, Kelly, Marc, Alysha, Laura and Bryanne who were the love of his life. Nonno to the late Stacey. Dear brother to Luigi Bietola and wife Elisa, Vincenzo Bietola and wife Domenica, the late Frank Bietola and late wife Teresa, Lina Bietola and her late husband Raffaele Piatti, Nina and Pietro Landolfi. Dear brother in-law to the late Guiseppe Solari and late wife Rina, Lina Solari and her late husband Angelo Monzani. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Michele was a long time member of the Giovanni Caboto Club. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, April 11, 2011 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or Malden Park.
