I have lost two great friends in the past few months, two friends who were closer to me than my own brothers. Al, you were always so kind and caring for me and my family and even my friends. I will always cherish all the years of your genuine love for Park and me, all those early days at Brennan, the two of us just out of high school, training in Toronto for those aggravating days at Harvey's and you on mop duty at Swiss Chalet that really irked the daylights out of ya. Those times Park, Henry and Susan, Terri and I following you and the band at places like Cooper's Court. I'll miss us three hitting the road and you always falling asleep when it was your turn to drive, and the time I flipped the Peugeot and Park rolling out the back window and we headed right for the closest church to thank God we didn't get hurt. I loved you guys for caring enough to hurry back from Vancouver to be by my side when I had to rush back for Gram's funeral. Then the time when I talked you into buying a house and renting rooms to students which drove you absolutely nuts in the end. Yes that famous time when you and I went partners on that student rental on California and you got that frantic call from the Indonesian student, Peter who insisted that you call in late for work to get to the house right away because someone had stolen his banana in the kitchen. I never seen you so steamed! I know that you and I didn't spend as much time together over the past five years and I am so grateful to your work friends who have watched over you. I am also so thankful to your family for trying to ease the trials and tribulations you've been through Al, I love and will miss you my dear brother, Chris
