Obituary of William George Richards

RICHARDS, William "Bill" Passed away peacefully on March 30, 2011. Dear husband of Dolores (nee Ford) for over 60 years. Loving father of Lynda, William (Thelma), and David. Dear grandfather to Chris (Dave), Matthew (Julie), Cheryl (Jason). Dear great grandfather to Dylan and Mikayla. Brother to the late Shirley (late Bernie) and the late Shad. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Godfather to Laurie and Christine. Bill retired from Moir Crane after 40 years of service, Bill was a gunner in the Royal Canadian Air Force, a member of the Iron Workers Local 700 and Essex County Stamp Club. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Under the auspices of Windsor Veteran's Memorial Committee a veteran service will be held Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Saturday, April 2, 2011 in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
