Obituary of Lina D'Alfonso

D'ALFONSO, Lina (nee Aloisio) Passed away peacefully, on Friday March 25, 2011 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, at the age of 70 years. Devoted wife of 46 years to the late Domenico D'Alfonso (March 21,2011). As love has no boundaries, Lina was called to Domenico"s side as his Funeral Mass concluded. Loving mother to Augusto D"Alfonso and wife Nancy of Harrow; and Laura and husband Frank Signorelli, of LaSalle. Dear "Grandma" to Michael, Olivia, and Massimo D"Alfonso; and Andrea and Sila Signorelli. Dear sister of Maria and husband Gabriel D"Alfonso, and Adam and wife Theresa Aloisio of Windsor. Dear sister-in-law of Livia and husband Michele Leone, Velia and husband Filippo Duronio, Colombina and husband Domenico Duronio, and Adriana and husband Bruno Chelli, all of Italy. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and will be sadly missed by her many family members and friends. Lina retired after many years of dedicated service from Hotel Dieu Hospital. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Sunday March 27, 2011 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Prayers Sunday at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service Monday March 28, 2011 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home, then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
