Obituary of John Pollen

Pollen, John L. "Jake" "The greatest guy in the world has gone home". Passed away peacefully on March 21, 2011 with his family by his side. He was deeply loved and will be missed by his wife Helen (Rock); His son Jeff and wife Jeannine, daughter Jill and their mother Bette. Dear step-father to Lynda, David and extended family. Special Grandfather "Pa" to Joel, Jared, Mackenzie, Madison and Emma. Predeceased by his parents Otto "Polley" and Viola and his brother Bill. Uncle Jack to Glory, Daryl, Patrick and Bill. After retiring from Bell Canada (41 years) Jake enjoyed 20 years working with the Windsor Spitfires. Jake was a member of the Bell Pioneers. At his request there will be no public visitation or Service. Cremation has taken place. WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East (253-7234) entrusted with arrangements.
