Obituary of Maria Janceska

JANCESKA, Maria (Mara) (nee Kostadinovska) March 25, 1944 - March 10, 2011 Passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 66 years. Loving wife to Momcilo (Mike) Janceski and dear mother to Sasha and Anissa Janceski. Beloved Baba to Mia and Michael Janceski. Predeceased by parents Krsto & Veca (Macedonia). Dear sister to Ane & Dragica (France), Blagoja & Jelica (Macedonia), Sime & Grozda, Dusko & Borka. Predeceased by sister and brother-in-law Dobrica & Slave Kocevski (Macedonia). Loving sister-in-law to Rada & Jane Janevski (Germany), Vaska & Vaso Antovski, Rade & Nada Jancevski, Jelena & George Spasenovski and Snezana & Veljo Atlevski. Predeceased by dearest brother-in-law Bogoja & Vaska Jancevski. Maria will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and close friends. Maria will be remembered for her love of gardening, long walks on the Ganatchio Trail and most especially her love of her grandchildren. Visitation will be at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Saturday March 12th from 4-9pm and Sunday March 13th from 2-5pm and 7-9pm, prayers commencing Sunday at 7:30pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday March 14th leaving from the funeral home at 10am to St. Nicholas Macedonian Orthodox Church, 5225 Howard Avenue for funeral services at 11am. Very Rev. Dr. Aleksandar Mustenikov officiating. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Donations in memory of Maria may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or The Hospice of Windsor and Essex-County.
