Obituary of Anisia Mordowanec

MORDOWANEC, Anisia Passed away peacefully at Hillcrest Care Center in Midland, Ontario on the morning of February 27, 2011. Predeceased by her husband, Iwan, loving mother of Halyna Mordowanec-Regenbogen, grandmother to Tatiana Sonia and Toma Yvan Regenbogen. She also leaves two sisters in Ukraine. Anisia was born in Mizoch, Ukraine on April 22, 1922. Emigrated to Canada in 1954 and worked as a nurse at Hotel Dieu and Riverside Hospital. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011 from 7 to 9pm at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. Panakyda at 7:30 pm on Monday. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 10 am in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
