Obituary of Thecla Tymczyszyn (Tymchyshyn)

TYMCHYSHYN Thelma (nee Yawney) Passed away into the arms of the Lord on January 25, 2011 at the age of 100 years. Reunited with her beloved late husband Dan (1989). Cherished mother of Dan and wife Julie, and Elaine Hertel and husband Doug (2002). Loving Baba to Michelle Matthews and Gerry, Nicole Hughes and husband Phil, Sean Hertel and wife Kim, Lara Pingue and husband Frank, Kristen Borgh and husband Steve, Matthew Hertel and wife Emily Lucier, and Eric Hertel. Great Baba to Joshua and Justin Matthews, Taylor and Rachel Hughes, and Aiden and Katie Hertel-Lucier. Predeceased by sister Mary Michaelczuk and husband John, by brothers; Ray and surviving wife Marie, Patrick and wife Betty, and Russell. She will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Thelma was a long time member of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church and past President of the Ukrainian Catholic Womens" League. She was also a member of Veselka Seniors of Windsor. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9pm. Panakhyda at 7:30pm. Visitation to continue on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at St. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church (1505 Langlois Ave.) from 9 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Very Rev. Fr.
