Obituary of Maria Eugenia Iatonna

IATONNA, Maria Eugenia (nee Tamburro) Passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus, on January 7, 2011, at the age of 87 years. Dearest wife of the late Sabato (1999). Loving mother and best friend of Elena Iatonna and Nicolina Papasodaro and husband Nicola. Cherished grandmother of Sabino (Tammy), Laura (Sean), Cathy (James) and Tina (Luca). Dear great-grandmother to Stefan, Lylah, Nico and her angel Aubrey in heaven. Dear sister to the late Luciano and surviving wife Giovannina and the late Guido and surviving wife Delfina. Sister-in-law of the late Lucia (Domenico), the late Giovanni (Maria), the late Antonio and surviving wife Anna and survived by brother-in-law Loreto (Elda). Mrs. Iatonna will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (MAIN CHAPEL), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday, January 10, 2011 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at 8:45 from the Funeral Home, then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
