Obituary of Jan Tarnowski

TARNOWSKI, Jan Passed away peacefully at Malden Park Continuing Care Centre, on January 1, 2011, at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Bronislawa (April 28, 2010). Loving father of John Tarnowski (Heather), Donna Karvinen, Helen Dietrich, Jadwiga Tarnowski, Wanda Tarnowski, (Mike Djurov), Walla (Rick Swirgon), Ela (Erwin Miller), Irene (Mike Obradovich). Cherished grandfather of Michael (Mike), Kristoffer (Trisha), Jennifer, Marcie, Terri, Ricky, Andrew, Kyle, Alex, Tasha, Marisa, Drew, Kayla. Great-grandfather of Henry and Adam. Also survived by his sister Jadwiga Moscicki, predeceased by his parents Katarzyna and Michal, brother Franek, sisters Pawlina, Filipina and Marysia. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME(MAIN CHAPEL), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Wednesday January 5, 2011, from 2 - 5 and 7- 9 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday at 8 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, January 6, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to Holy Trinity Polish Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
