Obituary of Charles Alfred Rowe

ROWE, Charles Alfred "Chuck" Passed away peacefully at Malden Park Palliative Care Unit on Tuesday December 13, 2010 at the age of 87 years. Loving husband of 65 years to Marjorie (nee Essery). Beloved father of Lynda Lang and husband Edward, "Ted", of Windsor, and Carolyn Stockman and husband James, "Jim", of Coquitlam B.C. Dear grandfather of Kimberley, Cameron, Shari and Lesley, and adoptive grandfather to Michael, Andrea and Erin, and "Grandpa Chuck" to Nicholas, Patrick, Grace, Melissa, Jacob, Amelie and Gabrielle. Dear brother of the late Peggy Worrall and surviving husband Charles of Orillia, and the late Betty Marr and her husband George. Dear brother-in-law of Bill and June Essery of Centralia, Ont., and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mr. Rowe served in WWll with the 426th Squadron of the R.C.A.F, serving in 32 tours as a rear gunner with the rank of Flying Officer, and was retired from Canada Customs and Immigration following 30 years of service. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Wednesday December 15, 2010 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service to celebrate Chuck's life, will take place on Thursday December 16, 2010 at 12:00 Noon in the chapel, officiated by Evangelist Carson Imeson. Cremation to follow.
