Obituary of George Pickering

Passed away peacefully at the age of 82 with his family by his side. Loving husband and best friend of Margaret for 56 years. Cherished Father to Greg (Cathy) and Andrew (Marguerite). Proud Granda to Stephanie, David, Kaitlyn, Monique, and Owen. Thank you to the staff at Huron Lodge for their care and compassion especially the Poplar Unit for the past 12 months and the Hickory Unit during the last two weeks for their outstanding care and compassion shown to George. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E on Monday December 30, 2019 from 5-8pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday December 31, 2019 at Our Lady of the Atonement from 10 until time of mass of Christian burial at 10:30am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Vincent De Paul and the Alzheimer Society of Windsor Essex County would be appreciated.
