BERING-TREISZ, Elizabeth (Nee) Geml 96 years, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2010 at Windsor Western Hospital Complex Care. Predeceased by first husband Jakob in 1945 and second husband Ludwig in 1985. Loving mother of William and wife Katie of St. Joseph Island; Peter and wife Audrey of Windsor and stepdaughter Mary Nelson and husband Bob of Texas. Loving grandmother of Loretta and husband Jim, Jim and wife Anne, Eileen and husband Ron and Mark and friend Lucie. Cherished great-grandmother of James, Adam, Alexandra, Julie, Lauren, Michael, Rachel, Elizabeth, Luke and Liam. Survived by her sister Marianna Enyedy. Predeceased by her parents Josef and Franciska Geml and brothers Peter (1984) and Willhelm (1945). Elizabeth was a long time member of St. Michael's German Catholic Church, a member of the C.W.L. and also a member of Roseville Gardens Seniors Group. Elizabeth canvassed for the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation for over 20 years. Resting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Road East on Thursday, November 25, 2010 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Friends and relatives to meet at St. Michael"s German Catholic Church (2153 Parkwood Ave) on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
