Obituary of Mario DeLuca

DeLuca Mario Passed away peacefully with his family at his side, at Hospice Village, on October 23, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of Maria (nee Paolini). Dear father of the late Elda Santarossa (2005) and surviving husband Corrado Santarossa ; and Leo and wife Marianna, all of Windsor. Caro Nonno of Dean and wife Fotoula Santarossa; Alana and husband Zalan Hadadean; Leana and husband Mimmo Casagrande Bei, all of Windsor; Andrea DeLuca of Los Angeles CA. Caro Bis Nonno of Marina, Mario, Alexandru , Zeno, Manuela and Irena. Dear brother of Antonio and wife Antonietta, Natalina and husband Alberico Reale all of Windsor, Ugo and wife Rita DeLuca of Michigan, and Delfina and husband Antonio Tamburini of Italy. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Mr. Deluca was retired following many years of service at Essex Terminal Railway. Mario's passions were his family and his home garden. He will be remembered also for assisting his son Leo as "building project foreman" in the renovation/creation of Koolini's Restaurant, here in Windsor. He will be dearly missed, and always remembered. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME ( MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Tuesday October 26, 2010 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Prayers Tuesday at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service Wednesday October 27, 2010 at 8:45 from the funeral home, then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
