Obituary of Benjamin Dalupan

Benjamin Vallejos Dalupan Sr. b: December 19, 1942 d: March 17, 2020 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a great husband, father and papa. Cherished husband to Aida, beloved father to Ben (Tracey), Anthony (Kathleen), Dr. Peter Kim and loving papa to Kyle (Andrea) and Hannah. Survived by sisters Lolita (Ben), Rebecca, Jenny, Elizabeth (Alexander). Pre-deceased by parents Antonio and Luciana and siblings Romulo (Lily) and Remedios. He will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews from Ottawa, Calgary, Red Deer, Val-d’Or, Norway and close friends near and far. Special mentions to Cathy, Miss Shirley, Monique, Fran and Mark. The family would like to express a special thank you to all his nurses and caregivers during his stay at the hospital – especially Dr. Patterson, Dr. McFarlane and Dr. Upneja. Ben was a very hard working, kind, thoughtful man; devoted to his wife and family. Ben drew strength from God and was very devoted to his faith. All services entrusted to Windsor Chapel – Banwell Chapel. Due to the Health Unit’s recommendation limiting gatherings of no more than 50 people, the visitation and funeral services will be private. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations honouring Ben can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
