Obituary of Emelia Geraldine Beneteau
BENETEAU, Amelia (nee Tremblay) Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 9, 2010, at the Sun Parlor Home for Senior Citizens, Leamington, at 90 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Lester Beneteau. Dearest mother of Arlene and husband Frank Vale, the late Robert and wife Arlene, the late Donna June, Marvin and wife Suzanne, David and wife Mary-Alice,Dee Dee and husband Matt Watson, Richard and wife Sharon. Grandma "B" to David, Dawn, and the late Ryan, Alysse, Andrea, Lesley, Alexandra, Renee, Nathan, Caley, Sarah, Jenna and Tiger. Great-grandma "B" to Adam, Aaron, Max, Ben, Grace and Jacob. Special friend of Cherie Beneteau. Millie is survived by sisters Alice Paquette, Margaret Moore and Teresa Cooke. Predeceased by siblings Elenore Majchrzat, Albertene Pare, Amanda Gilhuly, Rosaire Tremblay, Arthur Tremblay and Lionel Tremblay. Millie served for many years as Trustee for the Windsor Separate School Board and was past president of St. Anne's Parish Catholic Women's League. She was an accomplished seamstress, cook, author, poet, and above all was devoted to her family. A special thank you to all of Millie's close friends and to the devoted staff of Sun Parlor Home for their kindness and care. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (MAIN CHAPEL), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, October 14, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to the Hospice of Windsor-Essex County would be appreciated by the family.
