Obituary of Drago Cerjanec

CERJANEC, Drago (Charlie) Born on September 12, 1931 in Cerje, Vivodina, Croatia. Passed away on September 22, 2010 with his family by his side at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband for 55 years to Anna (nee Vergot). Loving father to daughter Stefe, and sons Danny and Willie. Cherished brother to the late Sylvia Kvolek and surviving husband Mike and the late Katica Cerjanec and husband Joza. Dear brother-in-law to the late Nikola Vergot and surviving wife Stefica. Drago is survived by one niece and many nephews, cousins" relatives and friends in Canada and Croatia. Mr. Cerjanec retired from National Radiator in 1988. During his retirement years, Drago enjoyed spending time with his family and friends (Purple's) and his 2 dogs Lucy and Bear. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral services on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
