Obituary of John Francis Beaton

BEATON, John Francis. Born March 28, 1933. Passed away peacefully on August 6, 2010 at Hotel Dieu-Grace Hospital at 77 years of age. Beloved husband of Anne (nee MacDonald). Dear father of Glenn (Cathy), of Fairport N.Y., Wayne (Sheila), of Newmarket, Brian (Christine), of Windsor, Carole (Peter), of Canmore, Alberta, and Barry (Melissa), of Windsor. Dear Papa of Bryce, Elora, Calvin, Cameron, Charlie. Dear brother to Finley (Colina) of Fonthill, Ontario., and Stanley (Micheline) of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Mary Cameron and the late DD and Monica (John Dan) Beaton of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by parents Archie and Mary Ann Beaton of Glenora Falls, Cape Breton, daughter Faye Marie; brothers John, Archie, Don, Peter, Bernie and sisters Dorothy , Sally and Patricia. Francis retired from Chrysler Canada in 1995 after over 30 years of service and was a member of CAW Local 444 and 3rd degree member of K of C Council # 8919. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Monday at 7:30 p.m. followed by K of C prayers. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at St. Theresa Church (1991 Norman Rd.) from 10:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
