Obituary of Umberto Pozzobon

POZZOBON, Umberto Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 25, 2010 at Chateau Park Lodge at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband to Teresa for 54 years. Adored father to Claudio and wife Deborah, Angela Meconi and husband Frank, and Roberto and wife Patty. Cherished nonno to Katie, Marcie, Maggie, Amanda, Alicia, Frank, Ryan, and John. He will be missed by his sisters Armida, and Elena and by sister in law Catherine. Predeceased by brothers Narciso, Angelo, and Marcellino and by sisters Ida, Pierina, and Maria. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Umberto retired after many years of employment at Dominion Forge. He was also a long time member of the Giovanni Caboto Club, Trevisani Nel Mondo, and a member of the bocciofila. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 7-9 pm, Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 2-5 and from 7-9 pm, and prayers 7:30 pm. Funeral service Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 8:45 am from the funeral home then in procession to St. Angela Merici Church for a 9:30 am Funeral Mass. Procession to Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
