MESSINA, Salvatore It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, nonno and great-nonno on June 10, 2010 at the age of 86, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 56 years to Liboria (nee Lucchese). Loving father of Vince and wife Joanne Messina, Toni and husband Tony Giacalone, Joe Messina, Pete and wife Jackie Messina, Rose and husband Joe Mannina, Tom and wife Cristina Messina. Cherished Nonno to Jamie, Erica, Giovanni, Celina, James, David, Lauren, Nicole, Andrew, Sal, Michael, Daniel, Alex, Sonia and Great Nonno to Gavin. Predeceased by parents Vincenzo and Antonina Messina. Survived by dear sister Maria and husband Vito Matranga. Dear brother to the late Vincenzo Messina and surviving wife Maria Anna, late sister Lena and late husband Steve Vivona, the late Antonino Messina, the late Francesco Messina, the late Giuseppe Messina, the late Pietro Messina and surviving wife Ignazia. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish prayers on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
