Obituary of Dorothy Lucille Portt

PORTT, Dorothy Lucille (nee Gonyou) Passed away peacefully on June 7, 2010. Wife of the late Stanley (1978). Dearest mother of Gary and wife Marilyn, daughter Sandra and husband Richard Brochert of Nanaimo B.C., the late Stanley (1958), late Carol McKeon (1972), and survived by son-in-law Patrick McKeon. She will be missed by grandchildren Penelope, Pamela, Stephen, Laurie, Beth, Colleen, Karen, Michael, David and by great-grandchildren Patrick, Shawn, Sarah, Lindsay, Lauren, Julia, Liam, Dylan, Aaron, Samantha, Christopher, Megan and great great-grandchild Annie. Dorothy is predeceased by her brother Harold Gonyou (1985) and she will be sadly missed by her best friend Ellen Leffley. Dorothy was a proud volunteer for many years with the Victorian Nurses Society and the Windsor Coalation. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (MAIN CHAPEL) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, June 10, 2010 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
