Obituary of Percival Shepherd

SHEPHERD, Percival Passed away May 29, 2010, at Windsor Regional Hospital, Western Campus, at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by his wife Winnie (nee Walford). Dearest father of Pauline Trudell and husband Patrick, Patricia Greenwood and husband Brian, Barry Shepherd and wife Mary, Keith Shepherd and wife Anita and Ian Shepherd. Loving grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Joan Wileman, of England. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Percival retired as a Mechanical Engineer, from Kendan Manufacturing, after many years of dedicated service. He served as a veteran of WW ll, under the British Royal Marine Corp. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 6 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 7 p.m., under the Auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee. Following the service, visitation will continue until 9 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
