Obituary of John Freisinger

FREISINGER John With his family by his side, John "went home", peacefully, on Tuesday May 18, 2010 at Metropolitan Hospital at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of nearly 60 years to Agnes (nee Young). Dear Dad of Gary and fiance Judy; Diane Rauth, and the late Glen Freisinger (Sept. 27, 1989). Dear Grandfather of Jennifer and husband Jim Meere; Dessa Rauth and Brian; David and wife Marissa Rauth; and Kerri, Ryan and Jessica Seagull. Dear Great Grandfather of Chloe, Colton, Cailey and Cody Meere; Daniel and London Rauth, Avery Moynahan,Daniel and Brooklyn. Dear son of the late Michael and Magdelina Schneider; and son-in-law of the late Robert and Geraldine Young. Dear brother of Michael Schneider and his late wife Bev,(2009), Johann Freisinger of Stuttgart, Germany; and Helen Laporte, of Windsor. Dear brother-in-law of Vern and Daisy; Ed and his late wife Rhita; the late George and surviving wife Donna; late Tom and surviving wife Lee Young; Marg, and her late husband Jack Krogh; Shirley and her late husband Chuck Sparks; Marlene and husband Rick Burnside; and Audrey and husband Jack McKenzie. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Mr. Freisinger was retired following 45 years as an employee at Colonial Tool Ltd. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Thursday May 20, 2010 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service to celebrate John's life, will take place on Friday May 21, 2010 at 10:00 am, to be followed by entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation; The Essex County Lung Association, or to the charity of your choice.
