Obituary of Duncan Graham Jacques

JACQUES, Duncan Graham January 1914 - May 13, 2010. Loving husband of 68 years to the late Marian (2008). Dearest father of Norman and wife Roberta, daughter Nancy Jacques (1949) and grandson Kevin Jacques (1986). Predeceased by parents and sisters. Mr. Jacques retired from Ford's in 1975 and was a member of CAW Local 200. Member of the Windsor Hall of Fame for his Bowling contributions. Duncan, along with Evelyn and Harry Slobasky organized and started the Windsor Essex County Junior Bowling Association which grew from 60 to 2800 members. He was Vice President for 35 years. He also ran several leagues during his lifetime, as well as participating himself. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd, E. on Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services on Monday, May 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or to Metropolitan Hospital, Cancer Treatment Centre.
