Obituary of Arno Ernest Pastorius

PASTORIUS, Arno E. Passed away peacefully on May 11, 2010 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of 65 years of marriage to Gloria (nee Friars). Loving father to Lorne and wife Anne, Robert, the late Gerry (1993) and surviving wife Diane. Predeceased by parents Darrel and Letitia. Cherished Pepe to 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Gloria Turton and husband Al and John Pastorius and wife Shirley. Special brother-in-law to the late Ross and Dot Friars, the late Joyce and Philip Dussault, Joan and Mike Mutter, Elaine and the late Ron Friars, Larry and the late Sheila Labelle and their extended families. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.Arno will be sadly missed by his feline companion "Bubba". Arno worked 35 years at Chryslers and was a member of CAW Local 444. He was a volunteer at Windsor Western, the United Way and was an elected representative of Motorco Plant Two Credit Union for many years and served on the Board of Directors at the Chymoto Club for many years. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel.
