Obituary of Teresa Naccarato
NACCARATO, Teresa (Nee Bossio) Into the welcomed arms of our Heavenly Father, our dear mother Teresa quietly passed away on March 19, 2010 and peacefully entered into eternal life, at 93 years of age. Born April 14, 1916 in Aiello Calabro, Cosenza Italy to Saverio and Antonia Bossio. Reunited with her loving husband Arcangelo (2005). Beloved mother of Carmen and Dominica Naccarato (Edmonton); Peter (1996) and Angie Naccarato (2008) (Windsor); Ron and Theresa Naccarato (Stoney Creek); John and Loredana Naccarato (LaSalle); Nella and Gene Sarra (Windsor). Predeceased by her sister Rosa and husband Francesco Naccarato (Edmonton), and brother Luigi and his surviving wife Emilia Bossio (Morgantown W. VA). Loving nonna of Teresa and Sam, Steven, Sonya, Angelo and Denise, Michael and Krista, Dino and Christina, Ron Jr. and Muoi, Rob and Stephanie, Anne-Marie, Clara-Lynn and Ritchie, Mark, Enrica, Frank and Kristen. Bisnonna to 13 great-grandchildren. Dear sister in law of the late Elena and Angelo Bossio, Vittorio and the late Rosina Naccarato, Bernardo and Irena Naccarato, Elvira and the late Fiore Deluca, Giovanni and Domenica Naccarato, and the late Settimio Naccarato all of Italy, Michele and Maria Naccarato of Windsor, Luigi and the late Gigina Naccarato, Maria and Mario Gigliardi, Mafalda and Pierino Sicoli all of Ottawa. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Our loving mother will be remembered for her extreme generous nature, kind spirit, selflessness, passion for gardening and cooking, and a true love and devotion of family. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, March 22, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scalabrini Charities for the Poor or the Alzheimer"s Society. A heartfelt thank you to Southwood Lakes Extendicare staff and especially mom's personal caregiver and friend Mae.
