Obituary of Marietta Prantera

PRANTERA, Marietta (nee: Ponzio) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her adoring family on March 19, 2010 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met. Campus at the age of 97. Predeceased by her husband Eugenio. Beloved mother to Masina Francavilla and husband Fausto, Giuseppina Rotondo and late husband Joseph, Serafino Prantera and wife Eliana. Cherished nonna to Michele, Tonino, Carlo, and Giulia Francavilla and families all of Italy, Domenic Rotondo, David Prantera and wife Silva, and Robert Prantera of Windsor. Bisnonna to 6 great grandchildren in Canada and Italy. She will be missed by her niece Connie Mancuso and family of Philadelphia. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 2-5 and from 7-9 pm., prayer at 7:30 pm. Funeral service Monday, March 22, 2010 at 8:45 am from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for a Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
