Obituary of Joseph Florent Senay

SENAY Joseph Florent Passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, at Leamington District Memorial Hospital on March 17, 2010 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Yvonne Anne (nee LeBlanc, 2001). Dear Dad of Claire and husband Paul Bochar of Mississauga; Aline and husband Bob Sealy of Harrow; Larry and wife Cheryl Senay, and Joyce and late husband Keith Ganney, all of Windsor ; and Lucille and husband Stan Smallenberg, of B.C. Dear P"p" of Martin Bochar, Yvette Bochar and fianc" Kyle Tettman, Robert Sealy and wife Amanda, Michael Sealy and wife Michelle, Scott Senay and wife Catherine, Nicole and husband Justin Campeau, Jeffrey Senay, Greg and Edward Andrew, Shawn, Shannon, Michael and Patrick Ganney Dear "Great P"p"" of many great-grandchildren. .Dear Brother of Loretta MacDonald and her late husband Bob; Marie Smith and her late husband George, Sister Dolores Senay- of the Ursuline Sisters; the late Conrad and late wife Jean; late Cecile Angel and late husband Joe; the late Martha Dupuis and her late husband Mark; the late Norman and his surviving wife Anne;the late Camille Senay, and the late Paul and his surviving wife Florence. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Mr. Senay was retired following many years of service at E.R. St. Denis Ltd., in Windsor; and a member of C.A.W. Local 195. He was also a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus Harrow Council # 5350, and will be missed by his fellow Seniors at Card Clubs in Harrow and LaSalle. His passions besides his family, was an outing to Las Vegas, or a visit to one of our local gaming hotspots. The family would like to thank Dr. Guerra and all of the staff and nurses of 2 South at Leamington Hospital-your care and compassion for our dad will always be remembered. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Saturday March 20, 2010 from 7-9 pm, and on Sunday from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. K of C Prayers Sunday at 8:00 pm. The family will receive friends on Monday March 22, 2010 at St. Anthony of Padua Church ( 120 Munger St., West in Harrow, Ontario) for visitation from 10:00 am until time of funeral mass to celebrate Joe's life, at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
