POZNIAK, Katarzyna (nee Murawiec) Passed away peacefully at home on March 8, 2010 with her family by her side. Predeceased by husband Michal (1966) and Jakub (1981). Loving grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 14. Loving mother to Wladyslawa Waszczuk and late husband Jan (1971) Roman Makara and wife Stanislawa, Henryk Makara and wife Henryka, Krystyna Mazurek and husband Jan. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Also survived by nieces and nephews in Poland. Katarzyna was a member of the Polish Army Veterans Association of America. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, March 12, 2010 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers on Friday at 8 p.m. Funeral services on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to Holy Trinity Polish Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
