Obituary of Vincenzo Marchese

MARCHESE Vincenzo It is with broken hearts, that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and son, on Monday March 8, 2010 at Hotel Dieu Hospital, at the age of 48 years. Beloved husband and soulmate of Rosalia (nee Briguglio) Loving father of Antonella and Salvatore, both of Windsor. Dear son of Salvatore Marchese; of Italy, and his late wife Antonina, and dear son-in-law of Serafina Briguglio of Windsor, and her late husband Vincenzo (2004). Also surviving are many brothers and sisters, as well as brothers and sisters-in-law in Sicily and Canada. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Vince was a former employee of Windsor Bumper Ltd., following many years of service, and will be dearly missed by his huge circle of friends on Via Italia-Erie Street. The family would like to acknowledge the care and compassion provided by the physicians and nurses of the Cardiac Dept., and the Dialysis Unit at Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Tuesday March 9, 2010 from 7-9 pm., and on Wednesday from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Prayers Wednesday at 8:00 pm. Funeral Service Thursday March 11, 2010 at 8:45 am from the funeral home, then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
