Obituary of Edna Wojcik

WOJCIK, Edna Mary (nee: Chopiak) Passed away peacefully on January 30th 2010. Beloved wife to Ted. Dearest mother of Tanya (Sam) Edmunds and Tamara (James) Lanigan Loving Baba to Sarah Manschot, Lacey (Barry) Keith and Laney (James) McVeity. Dear friend/sister of Mary Klein. Edna was born in Roblin, Manitoba and cherished her memories of her time there. She spent much of her life in Windsor, Ontario, where she was a devoted member of St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral. She graduated with a degree in Social Work and enjoyed working with the Canadian Mental Health Association for many years. Edna was a loving, caring woman, who had a lifelong passion for learning. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Our sincere thank you to all the staff on the fourth floor of Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus for their caring attention. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday February 1, 2010 from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Panakhyda on Monday at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are requested to meet at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral (2000 Tecumseh Rd. E.) on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
