Obituary of John "Jack" Daley

Passed away in the early hours of February 28 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Marie. Jack leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years, Carolyn and their children, Jennifer (Robert) Daley-Stewart, Matthew (Vanessa) Daley, and Elizabeth (Adam) Townsend. Jack was a loving and doting Pop-Pop to Nathanael, Jonah, Thomasin, Noah, Sophie, Henry and Lauren. He is also survived by his sisters Cathy Daley and Anne (Clayton) Charters-Klaver. Jack's career in publishing and advertising took his family from Toronto, across Eastern Canada, and back to Ontario again, finally settling in Windsor-Essex. He was a well respected colleague and mentor to many. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him and especially by his family whose time with him was cut all too short. Memorial visitation will be held at Most Precious Blood Parish (1947 Meldrum Rd, Windsor) on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 2pm until the Memorial Mass begins at 3pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Canada as Jack was hopeful they would find a cure that would allow his grand daughter to live without the worry of this disease.
