Obituary of Valentine Garvey

GARVEY, Valentine (nee Poupard) February 14, 1935 - January 15, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of Valentine Betty Garvey announces her passing in her 74th year, with her loving family at her side. Beloved wife of Donald Garvey for 57 years. Cherished mother of Michele (Terry) and Tracey. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Stephanie and Sam. Predeceased by her parents John and Marie Poupard. Dear sister of John (Aleen), Mary Jane (Fern) Bernatchez, Shirley Marcus and predeceased by Rose Hulett and Christine Robinson. She is also survived by many brothers and sister-in-laws, and will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday, January 18, 2010 from 7 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.
